We built CultChair because referrals are cool — but receipts are better.
Independent hair artists are some of the best small-business operators in the country. Their work runs through Instagram comments and DMs at midnight. Their deposits run through Cash App with no refund path. Their house rules live in a screenshot the client lost months ago.
It works — until it doesn't. Then someone's out a deposit, someone's out a day, and the platform that drove the booking has no idea any of it happened.
CultChair is the receipt layer. We don't replace the stylist's voice or take over their relationship with the client. We give both sides a real booking record: a clear price, a deposit through Stripe, a private address that only unlocks when the booking is confirmed, house rules accepted in writing, and a verified review at the end.
We launch in Nashville first. Then we go where the founders go.
